Cottage Interior
These are the interior renderings of the cottage from the previous entry. I modeled the furniture and other interior elements from scratch based on photographs and measurements I had taken. I rendered the channels using 3D Studio Max and Vray, then compiled them in Photoshop.
It was important to me that I conveyed the warm and inviting atmosphere of the place, which was built when I was in the second grade. On the fridge you can even see some of the artwork I made when I was about that age. If you look closely in the living room shot, you can also see a number of wood carvings. My grandfather was an avid woodcarver and though I didn't have time to model the hundreds of carvings that adorn the place, I picked out a handful of my favorites to include.
